Scope of application for folding of terminal blocks
This standard specifies various methods for identifying the terminals of electrical equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) and establishes general rules for identifying the terminals of equipment and the wire ends of specific conductors by means of an alphanumeric system.
This standard applies to the identification marking of terminals of equipment (e.g. resistors, fuses, relays, contactors, transformers, rotating motors, etc.) and combinations of such equipment, as well as to the identification of the wire ends of specific conductors.
Where necessary, the detailed application of these general rules to certain products and the necessary auxiliary identification methods can be given in the relevant standards.
